Michelle Roldan has been a corporate slave for over a decade and decided to work from home as a virtual assistant and into freelancing as a copywriter. She did the sales page for Global Summit Philippines and the sales page of batch three for Freelancing and Art of Seduction Marketing. Michelle is currently a business owner. She has her traditional business, a variety store, and she's also done eCommerce in the past and is now doing network marketing. Michelle is also an abuse survivor who wants to inspire women who were abused to stand up for themselves by inspiring others to turn their pain into purpose.
In this episode, Michelle shares how she was all over the place, doing anything and everything. She was a corporate slave before who jumped from one business to another right after, a course hoarder who didn't tire of enrolling in courses one after another. But mind you, she was successful in what she was doing for quite a while, but then everything wears off for some reason. And now, she finally finds her purpose in what she went through – being an abuse survivor, as she would like to call herself. Key Takeaways:
"You really have to give because you will receive only in giving." - Michelle Roldan
"Lesson learned for those wanting to go into business, don't do things all at once; it's hard to focus on which one to prioritize, especially if all are earning well. You need to plan things." - Michelle Roldan
"For those course hoarders like me, I've gone through all these. But then again, I'm returning to empty my cup. I've learned this before. I will unlearn whatever I've learned before, and I will relearn this one. But this time, it will be more focused and more on action-taking." - Michelle Roldan
"It's okay to ask for help. And it's okay for your story to be heard if only to stop these perpetrators because they think they can always get away with it. And for the victims -- they think it's their fault, it's not." - Michelle Roldan
"Stop the blame game. It's done. Just deal with it and move on." - Michelle Roldan
"Success for me is simply being able to help yourself without knowing that you are helping other people in so many ways, as well." - Michelle Roldan
